I offer half hour and one hour singing lessons from my home teaching space based in central Leicester.
Absolutely! I generally teach young people from age 7 upwards (30-minute lessons recommended for students under 12) with no upper age limit. If you have younger children interested in singing lessons get in contact.
My lessons are held at my home teaching space based on Clarendon Park Road, Leicester, LE2 3AH. You can find this detailed in the map location below on this page. My full teaching address will be provided upon booking your first lessons.
Yes of course. These can be great fun and great practice for singing in front of larger groups of people. Group lessons can be really beneficial for the performance side, gaining group feedback and support. For more information about group lessons just get in touch.
I cover a huge range of different musical genres including Pop, Opera, Commercial, Musical Theatre, Country, Folk, Gospel, Jazz, Blues and many more!
Students are welcome to come to me for a one-off lesson or series of lessons if there is something you want to look at specifically or you have an event to prepare for. I would suggest booking sessions a few days apart to create an intense short course so we can really get into the project you’re working on.
1) For the very first lesson; having 1 or 2 songs in mind (originals or covers) can be really useful. Songs that you know reasonably well and feel compliment either your natural style or the direction you are looking to work towards. You don't need to be able to sing them at this stage.
2) A notebook (all lessons) and a bottle of water that is at room temperature.
I provide everything else - including backing tracks, piano, and internet! I recommend a journal-type notebook that you will look after and dedicate to lessons as the personalised exercises and information obtained during our sessions can potentially last you a lifetime!
Yes, I love to teach students exercises that, if they practice them, will help to improve their voice rapidly. It inspires me to see a person’s unique voice, strength and style shine through as their voice develops week on week.
In most cases, only slight changes need to be introduced to achieve huge benefits. The more you understand your voice, the more confident you become. I have students who once wouldn't dare sing out loud and are now working with me on their performance material, winning competitions, recording demos and above all, enjoying the freedom singing brings.
Two siblings or friends of a similar age can share the same session learning the same songs or a series of duets. This is really fun option for all ages. I regularly teach siblings and friends together and have coached family duets. Please note the youngest participant must be aged 7 or older.

I’ve coached several people who have sang at their own wedding. If you give this goal plenty of time, can practice consistently and feel you would be comfortable enough to stand up in front of a crowd we can work towards creating a truly memorable moment.
Yes! Get in touch.
